We always like to go to Big Ben. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and a great terrace when the weather is good.

A really great restaurant. Nice ambience, very hard-working staff and food, from which you can tell that great attention is paid to quality. We want Big Ben to get through these difficult times well.

Went there on a Sunday for the breakfast buffet and enjoyed it very much. Despite many guests, the staff had everything under control. There was plenty of everything and the selection was good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and in summer you can sit outside even when the weather is nice. Clear recommendation. Will definitely be back.

Worst burger! The two of us dined here today and were attracted by the offer "Burger patties from the Eckhoff butcher's and burger buns from our own production". Unfortunately, that's it. The "Big Ben STAR Burger" was drowned in mayonnaise. The burger pattie was chewy and rubbery and was hard to cut with a knife. The bacon was grilled to an inedible lump (?). Every burger at McDonald's or Burger King is 100 times better - unfortunately! Last but not least, the staff was completely incompetent. We ordered two large cherry juice spritzers and unfortunately only got two small ones. And payment was not without obstacles, because the staff did not understand that the EC device must be in the reception area of ​​the basic device so that you can pay with the EC card. All in all, a visit is not recommended from our point of view.

The Guinness was on tap and the food was excellent.

Very, very friendly staff, really delicious food, great ambience when the weather is nice on the canal, wide selection of dishes, fast service, child-friendly and clean toilets ... what more could you want, we will hopefully come back again for the delicious cakes!

Nice service. I'm a cocktail fan, these are mixed here with the machine, unfortunately I miss the show of mixing. Unfortunately, the drink has too much ice, which dilutes the taste. Since then I've only ordered beer

Location is cozy, prices a bit expensive. Ordered a burger and got a "simple" knife. A steak knife would have made eating easier. The "Big Ben pan" is also very tasty.

Unfortunately, deceptively. Little burger. The meat from the castle was too seasoned. You could hardly eat it. Price / performance bad. We told the waitress that too. But there was no reaction. There are 3 stars for the fast service and the good starter.

Every time we go on holiday in East Frisia, we like to drive the 30 km to stop off there. Very nice, open and pretty service, delicious food, great atmosphere. Notorious complainers are not advisable because nobody needs to joke. Yes okay, every now and then you have to wait a bit but nobody can do that.

On request, we (3 people) were received and shown to a table. We spent 40 minutes here and were skilfully ignored. There were enough waiters around, but no one felt responsible. We then left and were cheekily smiled at. Extremely unprofessional.

Food was ok. After 1 1/2 hours and a request from the waitress, the order was only passed on to the kitchen. It can of course happen that orders are lost when the restaurant is half full, but it shouldn't. We were advised in advance that the food would take longer, but 1 1/2 hours is rude.

Unfortunately not that great. Waited for the wait forever. The great burgers were really bad in our opinion. Total salting. Nice arranged yes, but taste disaster. We also told the waitress. No reaction.

First time in Big Ben ... and not the last time. A great location with a very nice atmosphere. Large parking lot. A lot of space inside and large terrace directly on a canal. Very wide range of food and drinks. Delicious. There is also plenty of space for celebrations ... for example the fireplace room for 60 people. Highly recommended 👍👍👍😊

Stopped here for lunch I ordered fish and chips and for the wife/boss/manager fish with pasta. Very good taste only beware portions are huge I actually could use for two persons.Very friendly service also.

Great breakfast buffet !!! Everything is there what you need and something for every taste. Nothing is missing and it is refilled quickly. Even if you ask for something, you get it straight away. Orange and apple juice are also included in the breakfast price of 14.90 euros. 🙂 The service is very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come again, no question about it! 😊😍
